hey leaving work now but ill type more when i get home. i own both. had a civic and upgraded that but got rearended and totaled thats how i got into jeeps. totaled my first lifted cherokee. bought a stock cherokee and built that so thats the xj in most of my pics. check out my pic albums. then i wanted a 5speed car to save on gas and build so i bought a 240 because i have always wanted one, its rwd, and such a fun car to drive. also have 2004 gsxr 1000. and no my parents did not buy me my cars. i work 5 days a week and pay for college. living the life lol.turned 20 last april so age doesnt matter, if u want somegthing bad enough u can have it. all of it. i love cars cuz they make me happy. but post more when home heres some pics of the toys.

 

alright in my opinion if i had to pick just one for a daily driver in my lifestyle i would probably go with just the 240. good on gas, easy to fix, reliable, engines run over 200k easy. i bought the jeep because i didnt have alot money after my civic got hit and my friend had his jeep for sale so i bought it. and then after crashing that jeep i wanted another one because the xj is bullet proof and a fun vehicle to drive. stock the jeeps are great.capable. cheap and easy to fix. bad gas mileage. have a decent amount of rrom but after putting two 12" subs in the back i dont have anyroom besides my two back seats. i mean i love the jeep but wanted a cherokee cuz i thought i would have a lot of room. so id say the downfalls of the jeep for me is lack of room for snowboards and things, a pickup truck wouldve been ideal for me but in the process of looking. i can haul my streetbike on a trailer with it if i want. bad gas mileage, not very fast on highway or it gets alittle scary. i enjoy my jeep because i built it. everything about it i love. makes me smile each time i look at it. it looks awesome. can go anywhere. good in snow all weather. the car sucks in the rain and snow cuz its rwd and i drive it like a sports car which it is. its one of the cleanest 240's ive seen in the area. no one around me has a 240. so much fun to drive. handles like a dream. its quick, not a racecar but fast enough for me until i can a swap in it. my plans for both vehicles were to buy them running good and slowly build them to what i want while having them always being able to be driven. like the jeep is fun but i dont go offroading alot because i dont want to brake parts. i mean i usually go twice a month to local spots and mess around but thats it. but the 240 is a great car. i made my 240 how i want it, just bolt on stuff, no engine swap yet because i rather have the good gas mpgs then power. but thats me, my car, how i want. i do eventually want to do an rb swap but in time that will come. right now the 240 has full exhaust, headers,test pipe, can. front and rear strut bars, lowered, 2 sets of rims um bunch of other stuff. its how i like it. its not riced out with a huge spoiler its tastefully modded. i like my stuff clean looking but capable. like look at my jeep. bad thing about the 240 is your going to want to drive it fast. was pulled over last night because i let my friend drive it and he was going 70 in a 45.but we had fun lol all that counts. um im just kinda of rambling on but feel free to ask any questions.

 

if u want more room, 4x4, get an xj, if u want better gas and a car get a car. two completely different things. thats why i have both haha. im hopefully sellling them both and getting a wrx anyway lol. because i like the gas mileage, its fast and has room.

ok so i called for a quote on a 2002 wrx and it is cheaper for insurance then my jeep wtf. so crazy. shes like jeeps are high on insurance im like no **** a performance car is 400$ cheaper then a 4 door small suv what the h3ll
