I for one, consider myself a 'Newbie', and for the most part would still consider to be one even years from now. I do TRY and serch, but sometimes I just can't find what I'm looking for. OR I find it and someone take said topic off into a new direction from the original post. So yes you will always have people posting the samething over and over.
I for one would be FINE, if I posted something that was covered 10x before if someone posted: "Hey here's the link to that question".
But for the most part all the input/advice I have gotten and seen others get has been great. I for one am THRILLED I found CF and have a place to ask questions (even for the 1,000,000 x) and have others to either help, or that can relate to my situation.

I'm definitely a newbie with CF, but one thing I can say is that it's one of the best (if not THE best) XJ forum - it's the only one I'm advertising for on my Jeep if that says anything (thanks to NATHAN for getting the sticker to me so quick!) Anyway, people have differing opinions and I really don't think disrespect is intended by anyone, but sometimes it just comes across that way. If you have posted something and someone else disagrees with your post, take it and move on. There are rules when it comes to posting and the only time I've ever seen the moderators get even remotely near rudeness is when they're trying to enforce the rules that make this such a great forum. Just my .02.

Honestly, i've never had a prblem with disrespect on here. In the year and a half or so that I've been a member of this site, I've had no trolling, spamming, flaming, or anything bad in general pointed in my direction. This is now the only cherokee site i visit, (even though some of my post's may have warranted it
).

Anyone who sees someone being disrespectful of other members should report that post. We mods can't be everywhere. And a statement was made that a mod was disrespectful then report them as well. If it was me then I want to say that I am sorry. Sometimes I get kinda sarcastic.

Okay. Newbie here. I like to think that I'm a respectable contributing member to this forum. I've been a part of forums where you ask a question that has never been asked in the history of the forum, and it feels like you've got a target on your head for the people flaming you for asking. This is a great forum - there are a lot of great people, questions, conversations. I enjoy reading posts that don't involve constant astericks or $%^&#^^@*@&#$Y&#*($&$&@#*@#&*@&$. Here's my .02: Lets all just get along. I'm not better than you, you're not better than me. We all have a common ground: our Jeeps. Mine might be the most awful looking thing on the face of the earth, but don't tell me over and over and over that my Jeep is ugly, or it's stupid to have this modification, or make fun of me because my Jeep may not see dirt; it's my Jeep and I might like it that way. (Mine is bone stock, so......yeah) Who gives a rat's ankle what people do with THEIR Jeeps. Lets keep it real guy and gals, help each other and keep on keepin' on.
btw: you all have helped me a lot already, and for that I'm appreciative.

We should open an offensive section that can only be accessed by members, and if there is any problem then address it there and settle it. I am a newbie and I don't know anything, so let me have it.
