Was on the highway doing 60 mph all of a sudden jeep turned off with no warning and l managed to made it to a baskin robbins nearby I had no problems or check engine light, she is even almost stock only has 3"lift have gas, oil, coolant, no idea wow im scared lol the wheel got so hard

The wheel got hard because You didn't have power steering once You lost power. That is scary though. How's your battery and alternator?

Battery doesnt even have 3weeks and the alternator was checked and was doing fine

Did you at least get ice cream at baskin Robbins?

Hope you figure it out! I would be interested to know in case my 99 goes through something similar.

Just because your battery has three weeks on it doesn't mean it's good. Quality really isn't a part of craftsmanship now a days in product. Working at pepboys I can honestly say stay away from their batteries. Just my two cents.

Check all connections!

Yea all conections are good, when i try to turn it on it tries but nothing, and i got no check engine or gauges on my dash

just crusing along and it was like someone shut the rig off as if the key was turned off?

samething happened to mine. had it taken to a shop, they replaced wires and stuff.
now 4months later since it happened, it's still sitting. replaced, ballist, fuel filter, relays, dropped the fuel pump out (isnt kicking on) hooked it to the battery and it worked, put in back in and still doesnt work.
from the help ive gotten on here, could be something electrical preventing it from starting. and when you say you try to turn it on: does it fire like its gonna run then put put then dies?

Yea its gonna fire like its gonna run but then nothing happens... And whats a cps failure?

Crankshaft positioning sensor. Happened all the time on my 95.
