Default Wondering how many people have jacked my rack design...

So I built this rack to be original and decided to post the plans with measurements in my thread. I've seen 2 or 3 pop up and I'm wondering how many of ya'll have used it. It's cool!!! That's why I put the plans up there. If so post some pics!!! I wanna see how they came out!

I like that rack design I might do something simular to that next time I build one. I still need to get some expanded metal for the floor of my rack.

I'm gonna jack the design soon with a few slight mods, also I am gonna use round instead of square tubing.

All in all what can we say bro? You did a awesome job building the rack

Sweet man! Thanks! I've actually seen a few on here that were pretty close to identical so I'm curious to see who's done some seeing as how I just happen to stumble onto these while looking around.

I like that a lot, looks very clean and simple.

I have never really looked into purchasing a rack for mine, but with the summer coming I could use more hatch room for camping and what not if I threw the spare up top.

What's the weight of one of these custom ones? Do the companies who make similar ones use lighter materials? Or is the weight insignificant all together?

I'm debating using your plans, I certainly appreciate you posting them!

mine is pretty heavy but that's because my steel is so thick! you could go with 14 gauge on the thickness and be ok with weight and strength.
