Winch, front and rear bumper, tow hooks, tow strap,cb, tires/rims, first aid kit, snorkel, safari rack, roll bar. Any money left over just send to me. Personally I'd buy a stroker rather than super charger. I don't think a super charger would be all that offroad......

hit the road is out, i work 6 10 every week. and its not looking like it going to slow down any time soon.

next to that around here there is not a lot of places that need a lot of lift. right the prod is no grip. so tires at a must the ones i have are crapy.

but maintenance would be nice. is there any common probs that need to be fixed, i just did a full trun up , wires plugs, filters, and chaged all the oil in every thing.

I would look into maintenance. You said you already did some so just build off that. Tires, brakes, a/c fix(if not working) all the litttle stuff you always want to do but never want to do. lol Thats where I would start. Look into maby some sliders you can make into a step sense you said every one is short in your family.

I would buy a set of Cooper STT's (Great 70k tire, aggressive with little road noise, And a decent price.) I have Cooper ST's, I love them. Would highly recommend them! Then Finnish off the maintenance. (Little odds and ends), Possible window and door seals. (Don't want the doors rusting from the inside out.). Then Bank the rest. For future needs.

Hoses and change your heater control valve from a plastic one to a metal one. Mine just blew which made me lose all my coolant. Just a thought.

Hi, AFAIK the Baja claws have been discontinued or so I have been told by 3 dealers. Depending on where you do your driving IE: street, sand, rocks snow or trail should help in deciding what tire to go for. Personally I went for the Interco TrXus AT Radials and am very happy with them. They make a 29/10.5/15 that's a great tire for all around performance and work especially well in the sand...Tj

I had the Mickey thompsons and loved them the only bad thing about them is that they don't pull that great in reverse which caused me to get stuck a few times.

It would be easier to know what to suggest if we knew how you intend to use your XJ. Speaking from personal experience, I have dumped a BUTTLOAD of money into my XJ since buying it brand new 11 yrs ago. Quite frankly I've wasted A LOT of money. You need to remember that a vehicle is a DEPRECIATING item, meaning it will never increase in value. Any money you put into it is money you will never see again, like paying rent. My advice - do some good preventive maintenance on it to keep it running strong for your needs. Then take the rest of your money and INVEST it. In a year or two, go into your investments and skim off your earnings over principal, and use that to get more stuff for your jeep.

The XJ is a very capable vehicle in stock form, and even more so with a mild lift and 31's. I'd be careful about overspending on it.

Just my .02.

i set money aside to put into my cars. and with the drag strip closed the money is not going into my drag car.

i want kind of a weekend rig but day to day drive as well.
i know im not going no bigger then 31in tires. i dont want to go no higher then the 3 in life i have b/c after that i will haft to adjust the pinon angle and all and my family.

i just want a good all around rig for the most part but i want it to shine rock cawing more then any thing.

U.A.V i know, but places around here i have no prob getting throw with the carp AT i have on my jeep now.

lockers are a must, but when i get lockers, im replacing my axles as well. i was told i got a dana 30 and dana 35 under my jeep with 3.73 gear and they where 27 spline.

brakes didn't thing about that, and one know of a good upgrade it?
as for the A/C i pulling that bad boy, never had and im sorry im making my doors like a cj so i can remove then and put tube bar there to open it up in the summer time.

Ah, gotcha.

Here's a good upgrade... high flow water pump to help keep engine temps down in low speed situations (crawling);
