Question Winch mount question again.

I know everyone has told me to use a D backbone, but i cant afford it. I was wounderin if this would work, it says universal but do the holes match up any good. If this dont work, ill pay my uncle to make me me one for $100. But first what you think of this.

That would work if you have something strong enough to bolt/weld it to.

i used something like that as a start for my bumper. you cant just weld/bolt that to a stock bumper. there really is only one good way to get a winch onto a XJ and that is with a new bumper with (at the bare minimum) mounts tied into the tow hook holes.
