When I use to drive a wrangler other wranglers would wave at me on the road. When I ditched the wrangler (Because of rusty frame) and got my first XJ nobody that drove a Jeep would wave at a plain old stock XJ even if I waved first. ok Now that I have a lift Now I get waves from any Jeep that has a lift or covered in mud whatever.. I think it's cool that the trail people wave on the highway "like it's a JeeP cult or something" Something to do with that saying? ( It's a JeeP thing you would'int understand ) Tell me how you guy/girls respond.

i gave up. i like how the chevy and ford suv guys look at my cherokee though, i guess since i look down into their trucks

when i showed that guy driving the jacked up chevy how do do cookies properly( his crap truck would spin one wheel and i had posi on both axles) he waved at me...
but the 500 or so corvettes for the corvette rally hated the thing. i got so many fingers i thought i was driving the corvette's anticrist.

 

from a corvette owner... they only like them selves.

luckily i do it all. imports, jeeps, vettes. no fords though

 

don't bother with the "Jeep Wave" anymore either... i just give a Thumbs-Up and a authoritive Nod!

i'll wave to the odd stock xj when in my tj, but only if they acknowledge me first tho.

These days I just wave at lifted Jeeps... To many collage barbies riding around in TJ's and grocery getting XJ's to wave at them. But I did lay waste to a bunch of collage kids in a slightly lifted YJ this last summer. Great looks when the Father with kids in an XJ showed them what a real Jeep can do with a competent driver behind the wheel.
