Looks like there might be a lot of water damaged Texas Jeeps on the market when the water recedes.
Seen pics of vehicles completely submerged.
Those people in the Houston area have got to be going thru a living hell. Sad!

In all seriousness, this is a bad thing across the board for used car sales...lots of auction houses swoop in, buy them for pennies on the dollar, the end buyers do the bare minimum to get it running, and resell for a massive profit, leaving the consumer holding the proverbial colostomy bag. Not just local houses either, people from all over the nation will show up, buy the damaged vehicles, ship them, then do their thing, and resell locally...and still make a ton of money.
The amount of issues these vehicles will see ranges from rusting, to wiring corrosion, to interior issues, mold, not to mention major internal damage to motors/transmissions, etc....
It pays to do your due diligence when purchasing a used vehicle, but a lot of them will never even see a carfax or report, due to not being covered, totaled, and not reported, or by private party sales to wreckers/auction houses.
Just be careful folks. Track down the history if and when you can.
Public Service Announcement over, haha

LOL
People really suck sometimes. Taking someone else's hardship, and turning a profit from it, by way of shady dealings, is just infuriating to me. Special place in hell for those folks, haha

It'll run when it has been dried out if it was just sitting there when the water came up. How LONG it'll drive for before all those lovely connectors in the loom rot out is anyone's guess
Maybe it would someone from Arizona who lives near that airplane boneyard place?
If it has been driven into the water and hyrdaulic-locked then all bets are off!
