Too much! for the 35, maybe, maybe with a locker, would need to see the receipts, when he says rebuild, for that price it must be total, this guy could be trolling for an easy mark.

Took a third look, not sure what an X series D35 means, perhaps I need to be educated but I still can't see the $1200 unless the rebuild is total, bearings, seals, brakes complete. The 4:10 gear is fine if you have the matching front, Having done rebuilds I understand the parts costs can add up and you often find it tought to fully recover the love and labour you put in to it.
Still for me, I trust my own work more than an ad. Ya really got to think about it and swap some pics with the seller.

I've gotten quotes on rebuilding my 8.25 in my 98
Almost $800 and thats reusing my ring and pinion.
Called some wreckers (What we call the JY) about a replacement axle. $500 to $1200.
Called about some S10 leaf springs for a bastard pack.
Got quoted $75 a side. From ever yard I called. All over Ontario. I called about 30 of them just for fun.
Asked about some V8 ZJ coils while I was at it. $40 ea. no quarentee they were good. From all of them.
I think some of you southern brothers should buy every scrap XJ you can lay your hands on and come up here to sell the parts.
You'd be rich in no time!

I troll Kijiji now and buy a complete vehicle for about $500 and sell the rest to the scrappers. Make my money back and get to keep the parts I want.
