I recently picked up a very clean 1997 4-door sport in manual with 140K miles and I'm curious where people think I should go from here both in terms of looking to head off any potential problems and also just fun mods.

So far I have:

Upgraded the headlights, tail lights and interior lights to LED.
Replaced the rear main seal, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, front springs and shocks, rear leafs and shocks, the steering damper, all four wheel got new breaks and rotors, and done all your general fluid/lube changes.

I also replaced the tires and cleaned up the engine.

On deck is the installation of CB which I'm currently debating the best way to run the coaxial cable for.

Suggestions on where to go next? I'm debating on if I should pick up some common spare parts type stuff beyond filters and oil or start modding? I guess my first thought there is the bumpers, a winch and a roof rack.

Just curious where people tend to go with this. This car pretty much is my hobby at this point lol. Thanks for any suggestions!

 

You can start looking at bumpers and what winch you want . there is a lot to choose from . some of the cheaper winch bumpers need to be reinforced .

 

Is all maintenance up to date? Tune up parts? Fluid chanfges?
