Does anyone have pictures of there wheel wells after trimming the sheet metal? Also has anyone made fender flares after doing such a cut?
Go to my profile and look in the album called "my jeeps evolution" for a pic of the cut wheel well. I used tj flares, but some garden trim from home depot and some aluminum strip can make some cheap, effective flares too

The first pic is after i cut the sheet metal off. The second pic is after i bent over about a quarter inch of sheet metal. The third pic is after i drilled the new flare mounting holes and painted the fender. And the fourth and fifth pics are after mounting the new/old flare. I trimmed about an inch off the old flare, trimmed the bottom to line up with body, i moved the flares up so i filled the gap left by the where the body line use to line up, drilled new mounting holes in the flare, and painted it.
