Quote: i was bummed that i thought i owed the state of MI almost $400...

but today (post mark day, i'm one of those procrastinators), i went to a tax professional to have them look over all my stuff... and i'm coming out of it with a couple grand instead. thank goodness! that means i can pay off the bills i inquired over the past few months, plus i can go back anytime during the year and he is going to look over my taxes from last year, which i owed money on, and he's going to try to get me money back on past years taxes. pay $80 to get a few grand back for each visit, i ain't complaining! this means i'll be able to afford more goodies for the XJ!!!!
Ya thats why I take mine to the tax pros every year!

and a clutch for my xj...
Awesome!
I would be very tempted to turn the yoda intoa wheeling rig, and make the xj a DD.

I already got my taxs back and spent almost all of it on my 09 Suzuki DR-Z400S. I did do a tune up with some of it.

just saw every little (or big) upgrade you have on your XJ, and that's almost a spitting image of what i am going to do with mine in the long run! plus thinking of replacing the worn steering box with an AGR Performance variable steering box.

I bought my Kumho 31" ATs with my tax return. Paid $400 mounted and balanced for them brand new. Not bad considering they were going for almost $130 a piece just for the tires. I got them cheaper because someone ordered the Kumho MTs and they accidently ordered the ATs, so I got a deal on them. So much better than my old totally worn out and sucky 235s.

Quote: If I manage to get anything back....tires and wheels. Some KM2's on 17" wheels have been at the top of the list for months!
Unfortuantely, my hack'n'tap died just before x-mas and my driveshaft was done since i'd sheared the zirks off it long ago, my superswampers were beyond done, and, someone tried to steal my truck again new years eve day (3rd time in 8 months, found down the road with a rope/strap still attached)
So, JB conversions SYE and new driveshaft, 5 new 33's and an alarm system later, I've already spent my tax return.
BAH!
