at $4 each thats pricey... not to mention the hassle... i use mine to cut all kinda of stuff and go through a couple packs pretty quick on a project... some things ya just cant replace it with but i plan to get ahold of some other metal tools... dont have a ton... just bought that tube bender last night... notcher after i figure out what i want... portasaw... and i need some clamps and small crap... magnets...
Ive seen the name and probly their notchers at this point but ill look at them again... i know i looked at their benders... SWAG has good reviews and is cheap... there tube roller is a sweet idea too... i dont think ill ever need one though... cant believe they havent found a economical tube bender mod system... or dies that fit a HF pipe bender... something like that...
The woodward fab one might be a good choice for you, then. They're a decent company with some awesome fab tools, for not an arm and a leg. Check out some of their other stuff, too, you'll be wanting to spend more money with them before you know it! I know I already do...LOL...oh, and I'm about to buy some stuff from SWAG offroad, when I do I'll post or pm you about that experience...from what I've read so far awesome products and great customer service from SWAG....

Yeah, I personally would recommend either, but if it were me, I would spend the extra 50 and get the JD2, only cause I have their bender and am happy with that purchase and their excellent customer service. Repeat customer here....LMAO

i dont mean using the junk HF the way it is of course... SWAG never leaves them just the way they are... it would be nice if they could get it to work that way because of the design in which it bends... finding the center of the bend is easy with a HF bender (if it worked)... these other real benders take a little more and mistakes can be made...
This one i bought i found sells on pirate also... it was $700 shipped with a die where the JD2 hydro one was $800 without shipping and without a die... both have about the same limitations... the only thing with this one is i wont be able to bend down much more than the stand it will sit on... i also dont see a reason why building a stand that holds this sideways when needed wont work.... ill deff draw up a thread of how it works out... problem is i leave for Afghan again november 3rd so i wont get to use it till i get back in March lol...

1.75 4.5... it was a $150 jump for the 1.75 6 CLR... they had nothing in between yet but saw on pirate they are working on it... the 4.5 they say you will see some flattening with DOM which really should be expected with any bender that tight... it will just make for nice tight bends on the interior and according to there geometry and calculations only make the bend 5% weaker... im good with that since more than likely there will be other weak point to go first...
I was in the Marines from 02-07 but got out... worked for the DoD for awhile and now a government contractor... so cant take all the credit these days but pretty much work side by side and even ran into some of my ole Marine buddies lol...

nice... i looked at theirs also... actually hadnt looked at the notcher that i can remember... to late now though... i ordered the JD2 cheaper one based off reviews of customer service and a couple threads i found on pirate of people liking it as much or better than the notchmaster... with me having a drill press and the ability to get it mounted on the tube already on the truck i think itll work out the best for versatility for me...
Used to help a bud out he has the JD2 bender he bought the manual one and converted it to hyd. W used to us the ol joint jigger in a drill press. Man...... I just looked at a few notchers and a HF bender $$$ to much for me to use it once or twice . I will wait and take my stuff I want to bend back down with me and use my buds bender.
