I got one of these,

I don't worry about tough nuts.
When things get real tough this never fails.

 

Ide hate to be the nut ur taking off! lol

 

It took two people pulling as hard as we could on a 4 foot breaker bar to get mine out. An impact would make it pretty easy as long as you don't shatter a socket.

 

I put the breaker bar on it and attached my hi lift between it and the fender. Gotta love leverage

 

When I removed mine, I couldn't budge it with a 4 ft cheater. But if you put pressure on the nut using the cheater, then knock on the socket with a hammer, it breaks right loose. Almost works as well as an impact, just not as fast.

Snap on mg725 1/2 impact take it right off

 

On the re-install, 175 ft lb!

 

Changed both sides and brakes 2.5 hrs
