As the question states, what do you consider your rig to be? A Jeep, a truck, an SUV e.t.c?

I personally consider the cherokee to be jeep, suv, and truck.

It is in fact a jeep, says it right on the front and back. And it also holds true to the original ****** purpose, to carry people further than others can go while being affordable and reliable.

Its undeniably an suv, the one that made mid-sized suv's popular.

In my opinion i consider all "real" suv's trucks. Some are even made from trucks platforms. The cherokee has the comanche, a truck, as its twin.

Station wagons are cars (leave that designation for the new grand), and cars are cars.

Just my .02

It is all of the above, that is why these XJ's are so popular.

The state of Virginia considers it a "wagon"

I consider mine to be the cause and answer to almost all the aggrivation in my life. It's only about half jeep, not exactly a truck, got lots of things that are "rigged", an SUV and it's a wagon and don't care if folks call it that. But mostly its a heep that likes to mark it's territory in the driveway empty my pockets.

Haha! Well said! I've been a Jeep(Heep) owner since the mid eighties and grew up around my Dad's Jeeps. This has always been the case but they are very dependable and somehow get me home even though they are wounded from my abuse.

I consider mine to simply be a Jeep. Hence it's name, "The Jeep". Simple, descriptive, definitive.

It is a Jeep. SUVs are for getting groceries and taking little ones to soccer practice, trucks (rigs) have a GVWR >26k lbs, cars get stuck on speed bumps same with station wagons.
