I paid 4663 for my 2001 sport with 125k but I'm getting it in completely mint stock condition. Only thing i need to do to it is get some paint on one rust spot. The prices in WNY are insane because people see 4WD and immediately toss on another $1000.

I paid $1000, 4x4 electric everything, gauges, it all works. 158K. it needed:
front hub assemblies, driver seat, rear gate lift supports, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, radio, accessory electric. previous owner junked it because the steering wheel wobbled, the yard had another column for $50. i took both. then found i could fix the existing column.

$600 for a 1995, 2 door 2 wheel drive, with 190,000 miles in December. Great so far, no leaks or maintenance required. The last guy who had it fixed it up before selling it, runs better than my friends 96.

Engine: 4.0, 6cyl; everything is stock... for now!
I paid $450.00 for my 4door, 1994 Cherokee SE. It's 2 wheel drive, has the 4.0L straight 6cyl, automatic transmission, and it had 183985 miles at the time of purchase; now it has 187120 miles. Mechanically, it great! Just had to change a couple of routine things. Like the airfilter, fuel filter, the oil, and the sparkplug wires. Engine runs good now! (Just doesn't have heat). The body, however, does need a little bit of work. The driver door doesn't even open from the outside and the panel is missing on the inside, so I have to reash into the door and pull the itty-bitty lever up to open it. And the passenger door is getting ready to fall off. I need to have the hinge rewelded to the frame. Lol! Oh, and the interior isn't the greatest, but it's not as bad as I thought it would have been. In the end, I feel it was a good buy; I've always wanted a jeep, and now I have one!

98 with 99000 miles. $500. My father was trading it in for his new jeep and that's what the dealer offered so I stepped in. Looks and runs like a million bucks now at 110000.
