Not sure what all the options technically are, but I have power driver seat, auto down window, power locks, 4wd, factory tinted glass, minus the driver and passenger doors, matched spare, power windows. What else was available?
I have a small ding in the driver fender, busted fog light. Need paintwork on the header and hood (hood is oxidized, not peeling or ashy)
I keep flip flopping if I want to lift or anything.. it all works. May just do some nice shocks, rebuild the front, replace headliner, and a little paint work and call it real after sourcing my missing parts

6 speaker sound system. Not that it is all that great though.
I know you have cruise control in there. Plus I know you have the wood grain trim stuff in there.
Among other stuff.
I know all this cause mine is just a Sport. Just power windows/door locks and heated mirrors.
Somewhere along the way I got it in my head to build a Limited/Up Country/European Orvis Clone.
I have put in cruise, an overhead console, power heated seats, all the factory skids and tow hooks, the stupid tarp cargo cover, Infinity Tweeters, factory running boards, the factory privacy, what you called tinted, glass, factory fogs.
And probably a bunch of other stuff I can'r remember off the top of my head.
Please don't ask me why cause I don't know. LOL. Especially the tow hooks and skids. Seeing how she is just a DD and I am older now and my days of thrashing around out there are long over.
My Jeep did come with something you don't see often though.
The rear cargo box that holds a 6 disc CD changer. But my understanding is that this was a dealer installed thing and not a factory option.
And just so you know you can buy Factory looking fog lights on Amazon. These are what I used:

Overhead console. Power heated leather seats on both sides. That stupid tarp cover cargo that they started putting in the '97 and up instead of the retractable one they put in '96 and down.

Thought for sure you would have the overhead and the wood grain trim stuff. I don't think I have ever seen a Limited without that stuff.
This is a shot of the bezel around the radio that I thought for sure you would have with the wood grain on the door panels with the map pockets.

Cruise was not standard. Under the hood light was for all but maybe the most basic package.

Do yourself a favor and don't follow me down the rabbit hole when it comes to stuff like this.
When I first bought my XJ it was just going to be a little refresh and with some luck hopefully
the last 4X4 I buy in my lifetime. Being 61 one that is not as long as it sounds. LOL.
Some where along the way I lost it. MLOL.
I kind of blame this forum. Seeing all the XJ's. With all the options that mine did not come with.
All the upgrades guys do, bigger alternators, better battery cables, and the like.
Little refresh my ***.

I decided to kind of retire early. Doing about 3 hours a day 4 days a week at the Napa.
Haven't touched the Jeep in at least 5 days.
And what money? I own a Jeep remember. LOL.

Those of you in California ( I'm in NorCal ) how much did you pay for your stock or modified XJ?
I've been looking for 3 months now and most people seem to be asking 4-7k for stock and 7-14k for modified. A lot of the stock ones Ive looked at and driven have dents on them, interior is decent but almost always have a sagging headliner and faded wheel flares. The steering is usually loose feeling and they either don't have service records & when checking fluids the coolant looks dirty, as well as brake fluid plus the few I've driven have had super soft brakes.
Modified I'd be willing to spend more but I also think it should be a better kept Jeep for the price point. I'm just curious if these price point are realistic or should I be trying to get some money knocked off of them.

For 4k, you should be able to get an automatic tranny XJ in very good condition.. not pristine by any measure, but at least mostly functional without a ton of miles (150k being reasonably low, 200k average, 300k or more being "high")
You might try expanding the search area.
MA is pretty expensive in general, but I found my 95 manual within 2 hours, in rough shape but ran and drove with a good engine/tranny/xfer case for $800. It had (and still has) a saggy headliner, rough but intact interior and had almost new tires. My issue was that I was unwilling to get an automatic, so the options were fewer, but it took only a few weeks to find mine.
The steering components are cheap and pretty easy to replace for the most part, the headliner is fixable, but from your description, those XJ's would be in the 1-3k range in most places in the U.S.

Clean stock 95 with 190k miles. I paid 2900 for it. This was Oct of last year and at that time and since then XJ prices in my area haven't went down. That had been the best deal I had seen up to that point with most clean stock running 4wd XJs going for 4000+ dollars around here. You can still find cheap 2wd models but not 4wd it seems.

Wow, that seems super high. I know CA can be pretty absurd, but that's beyond the pale.
