$2995 for a 2000 sport w 113k. Dealer drove it 4.5 hrs to me. Had the infamous cracked head, but still tons of oil pressure, so after the Clearwater head I guess it was a real price of about $3600.

I paid 2,800 for my '87 in '02. It had a brand new head and 3" Rough Country lift. The interior was great except for a cut seat belt and missing headliner. The body was clean except for a dented back bumper and small dent in driver side back door. I paid the price because the motor had been taken care of, the PO had records for everything he had done, and I just had to have it.

$2680 2000 sport, 118,000 miles. Same amount of problems with the newer ones. Already had problems from notches in the steering knuckle from the brakes, blower motor resistor, alot of little things still wrong. And I have to keep an eye out for the 0331 cracked head. Wish I had a early '99.

'91 XJ 4.0 5 speed, $1200 with 204,000 miles. only rust is on the rockers but isnt bad yet, floors are solid. Bought it from my neighbor who had it since '94 and has documentation of every single thing done to it, it had never been off road either, that is until i got a hold of it. It was bone stock too, perfect platform to start off of.

Sold my old beat up 2wd S-10 for $1000 and bought my Jeep same year, same mileage for $1000.. I figure any 4wd that will run and drive, is worth $1000.. And this one is worth the effort to fix it up. Everything is good, just needs some TLC here and there to bring it back into top shape.
