Same with me. I bought my Jeep when I was 18, I had no credit card or loans at the time, so I had absolutely no credit. The dealer wouldn't negotiate from the $7300 asking price with fianancing. They also gave me a 22% interest rate, YIKES! It was worth it to me, though. I didn't have to have a cosigner, which means I didn't have to risk someone else's credit in case I lost my job or something.

Anyways, it wasn't a terrible deal (the asking price, anyway), and I have since refiananced it to 8% at my credit union. I only owe $3300 more on it, it was around $10,000 to begin with, including taxes.

I bought my '99 Classic in August of '07. It had 76,000 miles on it at the time.
