Made my first trip to a couple boneyards.
Pickings were slim at both yards.

Found a couple ZJ overheads. Might grab one.
This guy here, Paul Standaert, took the computer out of one and put it in his XJ overhead.
He did cause they wording above each button is lighted so.....
Thought that would be kinda cool.

Couple XJ VINs to run.
Still looking for that 8.25 with a Trac Lok.
And also plenty of KJ VINs to run too.
Just the ones with rear discs. Want to see if any of those 8.25's are Trac Lok ones.

Did grab a rear hatch weather stripping piece.
Mine is kinda shot and this looks to be in really good shape.
They gave it to me for free.
Well I guess you could say it cost me $10.
What the donuts I brought cost. LOL.

Had to order a transmission solenoid kit today, 140 bucks for toyota parts.. Didn't want the cheap chinese ones. It'd be really cool if at some point I could start spending money on fun stuff like bumpers and winches....

Also finished up the lift. Its 4.5" of lift with 32x11.50s. I kinda wish I had gone with 33's.

Spent the day chasing vacuum leaks after I installed a new battery. I replaced the broken vacuum line but what do you know...

I must have not seated the manifold on the darn dowels correctly as I can't get the last bolt in and it revs to WOT on startup. Massive air leak I figure. I am hoping I don't have to re do the timing again, but that will all wait 'till tomorrow.

I think 32s should just disappear. Either run 31s or 33s.

ya, i ordered them the same time as the lift I didn't think 33's would fit. I should have waited to get the tires. I'm definitely going 33's when it's time to replace.

Realized that my exhaust header is warped beyond the point of me finessing it back to seal the exhaust leak.

I ordered a Banks Revolver.

Then I got called into work on my day off.

This is not a very good day.

Changed my rear brakes on my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The left side is running hot. Any ideas?

Got my (new) overhead console wiring done today only to find out my temp/compass module is no good.

But between here, and over on NAXJA there are a few good write ups on how to fix it. So tomorrow I will pull it apart and try to look at what kinda damage all those years, and all the heat from the roof did to the electronics?
On a positive note.............. at least all the lights work?

Sounds like the caliper is hanging up. If that's the case when you replace it replace the rubber brake hose at the same time. Sometimes the rubber brake hose will fail and act like a check valve causing the same problem.

Started the upcountry suspension. I'm lucky enough to do it at school where we've got a lift and torch. So far so good.
