After over 2 months my Jeep is finally running again. Drove it around the block a few minutes ago and theres a few issues. I think the exhaust needs to be re-tightened because its idling and driving right just extra loud. But I can't really remember how it exactly sounded before.
Also, my turn signal lights in the rear light up solid when I hit the brakes. I think the passenger dust shield is dragging because im getting a similar noise to that when turning left.

Meh, just changed the oil between putting coats down on a '67.
Then drove it to Austin and back. No traffic coming back thankfully, but going out there it was insane. Hour and a half of deadlock on I35, and she sat steady at about 215 with the AC blasting.

way better than trying to balance it on a few block of wood on my floor jack..
I have used my hoist for the rear bumper, sliders, front bumper, and for hoisting the front axle when my lower ball joints had to be pressed out with a shop press...

Right? I really need to get one of my own. Borrowed one from a friend when I was pulling the motor and tranny out of the green jeep for my tranny swap... only thing that sucked was I didn't have a hoist to help me get the hoist into the back of my jeep and the tranny/trans case combo onto the cargo carrier to take it to my friend's house to complete the swap lol

Tell me about it... removal of the tranny & transfer case (and engine that ended up needing to be removed) - about 2 days with hand tools lying on my back on sheets of OSB on the ground. Installation of said transmission and transfer case with air tools.... 6 hours.
