Same here. But toying with the idea of doing them at some point anyway. Thinking if I don't go aftermarket OEM then maybe the rubber Brown Dog ones.

My limited research kinda tells me I don't want the Poly ones. '00 DD at stock height. Might Duplicate a Up Country lift with aftermarket parts at some point but that would be as high as I would go.

I put the rubber Brown Dogs on mine. More felt vibration over the stock ones, but I adjusted it to where I can deal with it.

maybe they were better back then because there have been alot of posts in the past year or so sayimg the anchor transmission mount caused tons of vibration amd people swapped it for something else, myself included. There is even a nice write up on it on the forum from the past year showing and explaining why. But man it just about rattled my teeth out haha.

I'd run them. He makes good stuff, next trans mount I get will definitely be his, but I already put brown dog rubber mounts in the Cherokee before he made these.

Looking to change shocks on my 01 5 in lift, no idea what's on there now, but they ride like a rock both on and off road. Fixed income disability so can't break the the bank.

Save up for a bit and get some bilsteins 5100s I'm on 5.5" lift and I always get compliments on how nice mine rides and handles. Whenever I get money/time/bigger priorities fixed I'll put some in my Comanche.

Getting new nut strips for the gas tank skid install? I really wanted to use these when I found a gas skid for the '00:

See Post #45. But I needed the 5th mounting point for the factory rear tow hook. So I had to go with some Crown OEM type ones. Couple people on another forum were saying how the stock skid is garbage and aftermarket is the way to go. Thing seemed pretty heavy me but I never have seen an aftermarket one so I have nothing to compare it too.

Have no idea what is involved yet. I know I need to drop my tow hitch but there's a good chance I'll be using it some time this coming week.

Actually I was surprised at how heavy of a material the tank skid is. Both it and the t/c skid will do me fine. I'd say they're both a lot more than better than nothing. lol
