Being impatient and bored I decided to remove my rear swaybar because my lift should arrive next Wednesday. Also spraying down all the bolts that I'll have to remove to install the lift.

Donated its battery to my car so I can get back and forth to work until I can afford a new one

Now if I want to take the Jeep out, I'm going to have to REEEAAAALLLYY want it.

Made some improvements to my switch panel design. The oem switches are held in a little better and I'm ALMOST happy with the Toyota switch port (the usb charger is for a Toyota)
Looks good, Wiz. I've almost finalized the measurements for that spot between the '96- dash and 97+ console (if you remember the brief comments we had about that).

good ****ing riddance...

Sending the ebay special header back. Had to make a new box because the original arrived with a massive hole in it. This one is much thicker (prob 2x) ply than the original, too.

Got a call from my little sister who has a 01 sport saying that she took it to a shop cause the muffler was rattling. They said that the "springs in the front are too rusted and its unsafe to drive so she needs a new differential. They are looking for a used one for her" Wat. Told her to leave so I can facetime her and look for myself. Shes all the way back in new jersey or else Id go and look. Hopefully just new coils needed

One idea that could've gotten lost in translation:

I've seen a few XJ D30s with coil buckets so rusted out that I wouldn't have wanted to ride in them. Maybe that's the issue?

Possibly. They quoted $1200 for parts and labor. Thing barely has 100K miles on it

My D30 was rotted the hell out too on the brackets but the tubes and bearings are good. Swapped them with TNT brackets and been sending it since.

So far, pulled the front axle on the Cherokee apart and put in new ball joints. Leaving the axle apart till I get some axle seals. Might do some stuff to the Comanche since there's a little light left

Went back out and took out the Evap canister from the Comanche, put the icm and coil hard mounted to where the Evap canister sat, installed mean lemons battery cables in the Comanche (hope to drive it tomorrow and see how the voltage, headlight and all that look with better wiring), and put a clock in the Comanche which took some ingenuity.

I'd wager the difference will be night and day.
