Yup, sure did. That was a pretty cool store too.

Yup... you can actually ditch them if they won't stay in place anymore and get yourself a pool noodle from WalMart for under a buck. Cut it in half and stuff it between your fender skin and inner fender. Works just as well if not better. Also helps to deaden the sound a little bit coming from the front there.

I can probably reuse the ones I have but I like your idea and might just go with that. Gotta love out of the box thinking. Thanks.

At least you admit it. I can too. Chances are I haven't had an original idea since 1986. LOL.

Not quite. A co-worker that knows I have a jeep addiction sent me an email asking if I would be interested. His father in law wanted $300 or he said he was hauling it for scrap. It has been sitting in the woods behind his house for who knows how long. When he told me he didnt have a title for it, I informed him that no scrap yards would take it without one and slapped $150 down on the truck bed as my final offer. He begrudgingly took my offer and I loaded up. Im still working out where to go with it, but I have a lead on a waggy with a title that is in bad shape. If not Ill part it out.

Default Lots of work

RnR the head from my parts jeep, replaced the cam, lifters and rods after ordering from summit 2 times and they sent me the wrong cam both times. New water pump, rewired for 4 elect fans to run in engine on position. Replaced the thermostat to summer. Reinstalled my new 3 core radiator. Replaced my TPS for the 5th time in 2 years, gotta figure out how to keep them from shorting out (been coating the plug and TB side with dielectric grease to keep as much water out as possible)..

Looked at a 5-speed XJ for a fellow forum member. Bit of a rust bucket. Not worth the 8K asking price.

Not today but within the last month or so I removed the interior completely and POR 15'd any and all rust spots. Washed the original carpets and re installed the interior. Installed a 1996 factory OEM radio/CD headunit. Installed a new leather steering wheel and a new'ish cruise control switch bar. Removed the rear seat back cover and washed rust spots out of the fabric because the metal seatback inside had rusted which I Rustolium'ed to prevent it in the future. Next I need to POR 15 a couple rust holes on the roof near the liftgate and repair the holes and then I will install a newly recovered headliner, overhead console and sound bar. Lastly a new OEM rear upper cross trim piece. The interior will look just about like a new showroom Country. Then on to the exterior starting with reconditioning the top cargo racks.

sealed up the windshield that apparently had a 1" space that was completely unsealed for who knows how long. (no wonder my floors flooded when it rained.) then went around and sealed every possible opening i could think of in the fire wall. I'm now down to 2 visible leaks. one i forgot about, and my steering column for what ever reason..

Ah... well, hope you can get a title for it. That'd be sweet!

I had a leak there too on my 93. Turned out to be rusted out where the two halfs of the fuse block mates together. Was a easy fix.

Took it through state inspection. Good for another two years now. All they check in NJ any more is that the computer says emission systems are good. I checked I/M readiness with a scan tool before bringing it in so expected no problem.

blower motor was and still is leaking. fuse block is/was leaking, steering column leaking. Surprised the only rusted out spot is in the passenger floor. only gotten 2 leaks to seal so far.. its a never ending cycle it seems.
