Well I'm still not quite ready to purchase my lift and tires but I did go wheeling and got some mud on it at least.

I did the TSB to fix the rattling transfer case shifter, replaced my leaking fuel filter, and fixed my rear left passenger door handle so it opens from the outside again. Great day!!

Pulled old transfer case the rest of the way out and got the new one 80 percent bolted in. Was a pain in the ***. Need to put two more bolts on it, hook up drive shafts, shift linkage, and cross member and I'm done. Went to junk yard and had a hay day. They had 7 xjs there. 3 35 inch bfgoodrich mud terrains in great shape buy won't fit my jeep. Got the power steering cap I needed. Also found a cj that had a speaker bar mounted inside the roof that I got for 5 bucks. Super excited

You are right about the "Cherokee" badge....as for the "4x4", that's just an optical illusion because of my camera. I actually took off the rear bumper caps.

Tested out my winch I mounted last night on Dodd Rd. Last time I was there it was a mud fest but due to the lack of rain it wasn't that great.

and flexed her out a bit.

Fixed the rattling transfer case shifter. It was a pain, but once I figured out that it was easier to pull the carpet back and remove the bracket that holds the torque shaft in place it went a lot smoother. This was much easier than trying to get the bushings out on the other side.

Looked through my '90 to see if there are any last parts I might want. Got the fence ready in my yard so the flatbed can get through.

She is going to her final resting place this week R.I.P. blue . You served me well.
