today I did some more fender trimming. This is day 3, but only a few hours each day. I need two more hockey pucks for the front and for the rear I'm trying to figure out what to do for the bump stops... I've been looking through some of the post about it.

Added another tank to my garage air system.
Found the coolant leak in the tow rig
Humped extra tires into the loft of the garage
Cleaned more mud outta the cargo area of the XJ
Basically fiddled around with all the Jeep Habit related stuff without actually working on any of the projects I should be.

Tightened up my stock steering box.
Went so much easier after removal of electric fan.
Took up 1/4 turn on adjuster. Now steering is tighter and there is less "wandering" .
ALSO :
Took our 91 Laredo (a.k.a. Jeepster) in for state inspection.

Lets see I did a front wheel brake job pads and rotors and 1 new caliper on the right side, and an oil change. Just got it a weekago and trying to get it into good shape. still needs a few things though.
Pulled my drive shaft after work today to take to the shop for rebuiling. Can't afford a SYE, so I'm getting it beefed up a little. I guess the stock shafts are .060" thick!!! I knew they were thin, but come on!! He said that it needed to flex a bit, this I was unaware of. He told me that .085" is as thick as he would go on it, so I guess that's where we're at. Here are a few pics of the mangled shaft upon removal. It, incredibly, did have vibes too bad!!

Not good!!
