Pulled off the tranny support bracket thing. Man, found out there were 13mm nuts holding it up in the center. The whole bracket was packed solid with concrete like mud substance. Busted most of it out cleaned up 1" or so of grime buildup and threw on some quick primer. Then remounted it. A little bit of a hassle until i figured out the balancing act thing, got it started on the bolt passenger side then set the 4 center nuts then had to use the jack to push up on the center and lift tranny to connect driver side.

While changing my rear original rear shocks, not enough PBBlaster too much torque= four broken bolts. Then I broke my EZ out off in one bolt. drilled the other three they're not clean yet but it'll take some time.

search rear shock removal and you will find some really easy ways to fix it without drills and EZ outs

realized after taking a closer look at my exhaust the hanger didn't break it was welded to the Flowmaster and it ripped a large hole in my muffler. So tomorrow I'm going to cut it off and in a week of two I'm going to buy a new one.

Why not just weld up the hole and save 100 bucks?
Or have someone weld it for you... Waste of money.

Drove it...

took her out for a little test drive w/ the new KOR track bar. play in wheel is nearly gone, no more dw! mounted my spare on one of my old steelies to have a spare that doesn't look funny if you need it (old: 225/75/15, new 31/10.50/15). also traced down my front turn sig. problem to the light socket itself. napa wanted $20-30 for a new one, plus i'd have to wait a day or 2 for shipping......thankfully, the jy had a wrecked 89.
went to the jy for a turn sig socket, left w/ 2 sockets + bulbs, chrome grill & headlight housings, drivers sun visor & dome light cover for $30+tax! and to top it off, i think i might go back tomorrow for the swing-away spare tire mount for $50! just need to get a set of torx driver heads......
took off the black grill & headlight housings & put on the chrome. now she looks like she's smiling! i swear i'll get some pics up soon for a build thread.
