When I changed the belt in the spring I set it to 190 lbs/force, dead center of the 180-200 in the FSM specs. Yes I have a krikit tension tool
As far as I know it was the factory original pump. I know I could be getting another worn pump, but it will do for now and be a lot cheaper than what I can pick up locally. I will throw on a JY one and order a new one on line. I just need to get it up and running ASAP because a 60 mile round trip to work is just a little too long for the shoe leather express.
I am not sure if there was any belt damage yet, I will be pulling the blown pump off tonight when I get home from work.

wasn't trying to bad mouth. I was just saying they're expensive. I know there's a reason they're expensive. I'm sure they do a great job with warranty and all that, and I know they have a lot of info. I'm not picky about warranties, and I google stuff to find out about it, so I don't need to use them.
If you choose to buy all used equipment, that's fine. New (decent) audio equipment is expensive, but Crutchfield is competitive with their prices and service.
I crawled out of this one a few years ago after rolling 1.5x

Crutch field is good. If not they wouldn't have been in the business 25+ years. I just ordered a sub and Ann from eBay. A sundown 12 and a punch 500 mono amp. Just over 200 shipped. 6 months before that ordered a pioneer head unit and 4 jvc door speakers in a package for 90 dollars. All new. No warranty but all new. I'm sure I have the factory warranty but no dealer. For 300 bucks I have a kicking stereo. It's no competition winner. But it sounds damn good. Stay away from any brands like power acoustic or boss. I've been a car audio nut for 25 years. I've never had or seen anything good out of the knock off brands. Stick to names you have heard of. If you're unsure. Google it. YouTube it. Knowledge is power and YouTube is full of people that have made mistakes so you don't have to!!

Link to Quadratec OME lift
http://www.quadratec.com/products/76090_800.htm
Quadratec Part No: 76090.800
A little spendy I know, but after literally years of wanting a OME lift on an XJ I finally have one. Plus I do more overland travel to get to remote camping locations vs spend time on gnarly trails that would require a bigger lift.

Off the subject but another company that I would highly recommend for the same reasons is E-Trailer if you ever build your own back country trailer. Their prices are great, Free shipping and the help videos (ie; like installing e-trailer brake wiring) to go along with almost everything you might need to explain the products they sell. They also do a match price on everything they sell.

CrutchField had one of the cheapest decks I have ever bought. Like $50 for a simple Clarian deck. Of coarse I only want something to break the silence, not some high tech sound system. Got the wiring harness shipped for ($65) less than I could get anywhere else. Great company, There help videos are great. After much deliberation, I went ahead and ordered the OME lift from Quadratec for my 1996 XJ, as well as a JKS track bar, OME stabilizer, and additional 3/4" Spacers. It took me 1.5 days- All day Saturday with a buddy and beer time, plus 1/2 day Sunday by myself. Had to cut notches in front leaf bushing housing thingy- Air chiseled one welded factory nut off, and had to cut most of the other shackle bolts/sleeves/bushings out. Lots of heat, PB blaster and muscle did the job. Front went really smooth, and netted about 2.25" of lift with the OME 930 coils and 10mm OME spacers + .75" spacers. Rear CS033RB OME leaf springs netted about 4.25"....hopefully will settle to 3". All said and done I have a smile, and my wife thinks it looks goofy- Success! Now for some Extended brake lines from Quadratec that I haven't installed yet, and either shims or T-case drop kit to eliminte the drive line vibes, and I'll be a happy camper. Next thing is a locker for the rear. If I can convince he wife..heh heh

Making my own transfer case linkage for my jeep xj. Ill have some extra parts left over to make two linkages and then I could sell one here on the forum.
