drove it 130miles round trip to look at another Grand Cherokee this one was a bone stock 98 with the 4.0L at 160000miles runs great, no smoking, shifts great and 4wd works great. Only problems with it is the driverside window wont role up(the glass is there but nothing is moving) and the passenger rear wheel bearing is going bad. I think I'll buy it the guy only wants $400 but I got to get my hands on a trailer big enough to fit it.

I got my Reese class IV hitch in the mail, ripped out the cargo mat and insulation pads in the back only to find the entire floor is rusted. Hopefully I'll have some time soon to wire wheel the cargo area so I can see how bad it really is, I would have time tomorrow, but it's getting too damn hot, I really need to install the a/c in my '06 civic. Too much **** to do, not nearly enough time
I also picked up a matching dana 44 front and dana 60 rear full float with 4.10 gears out of a '79 F-250
I can't wait to start tearing them apart.

Removed the carpet and found just three small rust holes. Whoohoo!! I had been putting this off for awhile for fear of rust
. Gonna patch weld the holes with the pieces that were cut out for my hood vents and then bedline the floors.
What have yall used to replace the metal plugs that come factory that have rusted all to pieces? The one that says "WTF" towards the back among others will have to be replaced.
