bar pin eliminators remove the bar pins, the bar pins are the weak link in the shock and usually cause bushing wear. Also, changing shocks is easier and you gain an inch or two back in the shock.
It is more connivence than anything, but it also eliminates the thud from the shocks

Okay, great straightforward explanation - thanks 96_xj! I think I need those, been thinking about it but I wasn't sure that they're what I should get. But the clunk when I wheel is in the front. It doesn't do it on-road. Still need BPEs?

I like the clear lights too but i need to get brighter bulbs. stock bulb wattage doesn't seem to light them up very well

I blew my rear apart yesturday, got a dana 44 today, worked on it til 12:30 at night. new brakes and everything. last thing I did was put the driveshaft on only to find that its too long now....

installed a rear hitch and am in the process of replacing my white fender flares with black ones. half down half to go and it starts to rain with no garage to work in
