Also braved the cold in my shop and cut the stock brackets off my Isuzu D44 housing and cleaned it up

Replaced bad starter, and the alternator because my voltage was acting a little wacky. It was a good sunday.

My manifold looks the same way, only the crack is wider I am up in the air on trying to find a JY replacement or just attempting to weld it back up to get me through the winter. Either way I need to take it off.

Well the other side was cracked WAY worse, but all the other pics I took didn't come out that well...I thought about just welding it, but I have WAY too much time and money in it to screw around with it...

I have way too much time and not enough money, I am going to pull it and decide after if i am going to try welding or go to the JY and find a serviceable one

Not doing it today, heavy wet snow is falling pretty good right now. I did how ever turn it around in the driveway so the front is pointed in and more sheltered for when I do pull the manifolds. Hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday I can pull it, weld it over the next two days or run out and pick one up, then install on Saturday.

Ordered RE1310s and RE1340s from serious to replace my Zone 3" and 1" spacers and worn out isolators. Can not wait to have softer coils up front. Dont tell the accountant (wife).

PS Thank you for the great prices Frank.

Sweet work Ronin, should be great for your Rid, love that clear driveway and sunshine!
SG, I have run a cracked header for many months, noisy, not best recommendation, but if you have to, it;s a job that can be done at best future opportunity.
MotoW, my hearts out to you, but the tough part is done and your on the return trip with all going back in. It's a pita of a job that normally (thankfully) only need be done once in the life of an XJ.
