Picked up some 5-30 for my oil change tomorrow. Also got a 30" light bar from my mechanic friend for free. His customer didn't like how it looked on his slammed pickup. Will post all pics after installation. Wanna throw it on the roof for now since ill only it so often

Payed $4 to wash it at a drive through car wash and it came out muddier than it went in, so I put a buck in the change machine to wash it by hand and it took my dollar, so I went to a different car wash and spent $3 to pressure wash it and I ran out of time half way through. I'm upset at the dang carwashes

Bimmer is a beautiful internet treasure, his threads are the best. I especially like his shock replacement threads, 11 hours to replace one drivers side shock.

He's the best internet troll ever!

Took me 7 hours to remove the steering stabilizer. My write up consists of alot of cussin, screaming and hammer blows. I had to break and grind off the shocks lower tab to remove them. My xj is 20 and in the rust belt. It is bone stock as in every part when I got it was factory installed. I dont know the dude your speaking of but its plausible to have a hard time with it. But common sense says 9 hours for a 15 minute r&r is insane.

I have that to look forward to. When I did the lift I pulled the clip to drop the line, but when I went to take it out of the bracket the hard line broke in my hand

Oh well better it broke in the driveway than when I really needed brakes

Indeed. It ain't a good feeling when your 4500lb truck starts rolling into an intersection while your brake pedal is on the floor
