What did you do to your Cherokee today?
hit it with a hammer 30 times to try to remove the airbox to get to the motor mounts. didnt work. burned up a drill bit, rounded out the bolts. out of cutting wheels right now :|
next i get to remove the bumper with a drill gun too, so i can replace my balancer.

Every curse word imaginable! !!!!!!!!!!!!
I had everything ready to reassemble this morning for the header/injector install. Got the APN on. Bolted the collector. Went to put on the nut on the front exhaust stud. STOP. The bolt freezes and when I go to wrestle it off, the stud comes out. Spent almost 3 hrs tracking down a replacement stud. Finally get back, replace the stud and go to fit the intake and guess what?
It does fit. I guess I'm one of the lucky 1999 owners who can't get an APN. The clearance just won't allow it.
I'm going to just reinstall the OEM header. It's actually good.

Hammer was last in line to try to break away the rust weld after the bolt rounded out. Then I drilled it. I need a bigger drill bit as it won't snap off. Cool. Can't wait to try to remove the bumper to use the balancer tools.
