Oh I know I couldn't find them anywhere! I wonder why they don't carry them? But I had to order it from Home Depot

Got a call from my daughter last week while i was out of town on business. "Dad my Jeep won't go when i put it in gear".
Started it up today, put it in gear and nothing; rev the engine and get it to move in reverse barely, but not forward.
Push it into the driveway and crawled underneath. Tranny cooler line cut open after making contact with the harmonic balancer. Phew! that's actually a relief...easy fix. Run down to Napa, grab some hard line and flex line. (Get home and see he overcharged me
) Stopped by Wally and picked up a gallon of Dex/Merc.
Spliced in the new line pour in some fluid and we're good to go.
Also installed a new O2 and MAP.

Relocated the switch for mirrors to the cup-holder. It has a marked cut-out for it. No mods to harness required (1996 XJ).
Replaced AC expansion valve and filter/drier. Undercoated under battery tray and surrounding areas.
Refreshed grounds, soldered and wrapped a few crimped connections.
Checked thrust angle/wheelbase with a plumb-bob off the axle tubes, mark spot on floor then measure the marks.
From the factory there is a 10mm difference in wheelbase. I removed it, figured 'cross-caster' that is set into axle will accommodate road crown. Drives good, doesn't pull right anymore.

Finished up the sound deadening in the rear quarters and floorboards. Found where the PO cut a little much on the fender so fixed that. Laid on a thick coat of Duplicolor undercoating to help out with the insulation and keep out the creaks and pops XJs are notorious for lol.

Then found that the PO had removed the thermostat so replaced it with a 190. She's purring right along at 190 in S Ga heat so that's an improvement.

Then went and added some PnS above the rear speakers and painted the speaker covers and dome light.
