Changed out motor and tranny mounts. Left motor mount was trashed, right motor mount was cracked, tranny mount was in two pieces.

First time doing this for me and now I need to change out all my control arm bushings and order an adjustable track bar.

Started on my suspension today. Got a real late start. Got all the leaf bolts, and shackle bolts to move. Passenger side bolts came out but were seized in the bushings. I'm out of saws all blades and the cut off wheel would fit in where I needed it to. I tightened everything back down for another day. ****.

Let the fun begin... Got started tonight. Got everything except the ball joints. Gonna work on removing those tomorrow along with a little painting. Hopefully Sunday I can get everything back in. Already installed the new wheel u joints on the axles. More pics and details in my build thread

Dropped it off at the shop to have the tires rotated and to have my right rear shock installed since I couldn't get it off. Also received my 746 injectors in so those will go in soon

Finally got around to fixing a leaking heating system. Put in a new thermostat and housing, radiator, and water pump, with a few new hoses. Hoping I won't find any new leaks in the next day or so....

I found I could only get my grinder wheel up in there when I took the guard off. Even when I did that I couldn't really cut all the way through the bolt so I just rotated the bolt 180 degrees and got the rest of it

Decided to cut my losses and move on

So much rot to replace. At this point I have almost all of the materials on hand, but none of the time. Getting married and buying a farm in the next two or three months.

Maybe next year I'll drive my XJ.
