Is that after warming up? Kinda high. Should idle between 600-800 rpm.

It's at the line before 210. It usually idles lower around 700-800 warm. But it rarely has a chance to get to 210. Everywhere I go is within a mile or so of my house

Edit.

I guess I'd probably save a lot of money it I just bought a bike lmao

Ride a bike. Its not good for your engine to do such short trips

U joints are done, jeep is all back together and test drove. Now to start prepping for my bumper to go back on, then camping gear loaded up. It's amazing how much more solid the jeep feels with good u joints and ball joints.

Did a hack n tap.
Installed my 8.8.
2 problems, wheel studs on the 88 were replaced with longer studs, so I had problems with lug nuts. Also I need to mount shocks somehow.

The new shock mounts on the axle sit up to high so my shocks are to long to mount there.
Going to draw something up and make it at work to drop the shock Mount down.

Other than that not too bad.

I got the front flex lines, calipers & pads replaced on BlueJeep. Calipers had siezed from sitting. Decided hubs/axle U-joints can wait till fall. Jeep needs driven. Found overhead console @ JY today! HUGE find. need to go back next week. Got to really drive it today. Temp runs hotter than Silver & I think the cluch fan is bad. Understanding the factory gauges are NOT precision instruments & this is a heavier rig than Silver (2WD Sport) Pulls the boat up the ramp with no effort. I'll be happy for the 4x4 when the rains come & the ramp parking lot turns to slop.

I did the Valve cover gasket and painted the cover while it was off. The original gasket was rock hard like plastic, the back 6 bolts were completely loose. The hardest part of this job was cleaning up my dirty valve cover and painting it.

I also did the valve cover mod per cruisers write up.
