I said the same exact thing about my new paint job. My paint had flaked and worn off to the primer and my roof was rusting. I said "I can't let it sit through one more rainy season!" And boom, I got the new paint job. The next year, I had a C8.25 sitting in my garage and I thought "I can't live with this D35 one more season!" Unfortunately, I needed to regear both front and rear and I wanted a selectable (ARB) locker and, while it was all apart, I wanted a rear disc brake conversion. It all had to happen at once. Hence, I feel your pain!

Sanded off all the grime on my oil pan skid plate and dropped it off at the powder coaters. Do you think I can straight weld it to the oil pan? Or will I have to fab up some brackets and weld those onto the skid? I'm not going with glue...
