SHUT UP!!! I couldn't go that deep 'cause I have a wet/dry vac intake that is aimed AT the water. Stoopid thing.
Eh.... it gets old too. goes back and forth between hot and cold - plays havoc on your immune system and sinuses.

600 tiny multicolored lights that blink cancel out a broken headlight right?

Just an FYI in most jurisdictions you can get a ticket for impersonating a police vehicle driving around like that. Forward facing blue and red lights, and especially blinking, is where they'd nick you if they were to bother.

How many people here do you think have never done that? I've only changed my rear once... and it was when I put a new axle in lol.
At least you can get the cover off without a multi-hour writeup and not end up taking it to a mechanic.

Never had a problem despite technically being illegal. I keep the flash pattern slow, and they don't obstruct anyone's vision.
