What did you do to your Cherokee today?
Grinder some clearance on my spare waggy stub shaft so I can install new 5-760x and full circle rings. Still need to pull the inner shaft out of the jeep and finish the installation.

Sprayed some 3M rubberized undercoating on the trunk floor area to cover it. Also pulled the wiper motor as the intermittent function didn't work and it parked wherever the blades where when you turned it off without returning to zero. Bent the 3 "fingers" back down inside the motor cover plate and now it works perfectly. Ordered some new LED lighting for the interior.

Attempted to get a TPS off of 4 different 4.0L in the JY. Manage to get one screw out of eight
. Then I scored a hood release cable for $5, mine has been broken for almost a year
With the failed attempt to get a JY TPS to last me till pay day I broke down and borrowed the money and ordered a new one, it will be in tomorrow. I already broke the screws free on mine so it will be a quick and easy replacement. Looking forward to no more sputtering and choking on acceleration, high idle, and poor shifting
With that crap out of the way I dove into changing control arm bushings. Started on the drivers side since that was the side that was clunking. I figured it would be the hardest, but every bolt and nut came off with no real trouble. Had the lower CA and rear upper CA bushings replaced in about 1.5 hours, then all hell broke loose. It took from 2:30 till 10 to get the upper axle bushing replaced
Even had to pull the coil spring out to press in the new bushing because the tool I borrowed was too big for the space I had to work in.
Just got home from a test ride and it feels so good. All the frustration of that one bushing was worth it. Not looking forward to doing the passenger side on Thursday, but when it is done I can sit back and enjoy the improved ride

I replaced the trashed muffler and exhaust pipe, then flushed the radiator. The heater is now working fine just in time for winter, and my exhaust isn't threatening to fall off, so it was a good day.

Working on mounting 20" LED bar inside replacement bumper. Mounts to stock holes for aux lights. Always comes out better the second time.
