good find! I got my Blue XJ for 700.

and well I got it running again finally today. Last weekend we finished putting it back together, but the lower rad hose fell off the water pump because it wasnt put on all the way and the factory clamps suck. replaced that today and refilled the coolant.

she runs like a champ! and with the new 703 injectors, and APN header it sounds amazing and idles smooth right around 750 RPM. I just need to use exhaust clamps where I spliced exhaust when I installed the muffler and cat off another jeep, and that should take care of the leak I have now.

all in all I'm super glad I can drive my Jeep again

Had a hell of an xj saturday/sunday

Removed / cleaned / installed throttle body and IAC valve.. this nightmare was a whole other story.. basically learned my lesson on a cheap ebay IAC... never again..

Replaced oil filter adapter o-rings, used a 12mm ratchet wrench... the t60 bit punched out of the socket.. and a little piece of paper towel to hold it in the wrench end.. plenty of room to wrench from the firewall area above the starter... we broke it loose with a 90 degree t60 wrench that you can pick up in a set at an auto parts store... ran a deep well socket down one end with some extensions to make a breaker bar.. got her from the bottom of the jeep with no problems... she was tight at first.. but making that cheater pipe out of a socket and extension and going from the bottom did the trick.. then removed and installed from the top... if anyone ever needs pictures of this tool setup.. i would be glad to take them for you.. just pm me

Broke the power steering pump return plastic nipple trying to remove hose for flush....

Installed new power steering pump, idler pulley, belt

Rotella 15/40 and a wix 51515 put on

All 4 shocks with monroes (wore slap out!)

Front sway bar links with moog (corroded bushings)

Drained and filled tranny (again)

Lubed front end (looks like its never been done.. had to dig my way to the zerks)

put some air in the tires to 33psi

All in all... Not a bad evening

I did notice a tranny cooler line was a little wet...
And im going to plan to replace all front steering components and ball joints... Every boot was blown

Next time!

btw.. here is a few pics

my trophy!!! my old o-ring was hard as a rock... just make sure to use a little oil on the o-rings when re-installing this

It does suck. Bright side is more Jeep time! Keep yourself busy, don't sit around thinking to much.

Divorce sucks major. Done it three times and not going to do it again so will not remarry. I ended up remarrying too soon after the first one (10 years same thing as you). I was devastated and should have waited at least 5 years to give myself time to adjust to what I really needed.

While all that sucks, and I'm sorry to hear it, fight for your Jeep, man. She cheated on you, the least she can do is let you keep your Jeep. *****es ain't **** but hoes and tricks. Keep the sunny side up and the rubber side down, man....
