The driver side one is a piece of cake. Just take the airbox out and you have all kinds of room to work. The passenger side is slightly cramped working around everything.....But it wasn't too bad..
I get a slight bit of vibration at idle while stopped at a light, but driving down the road I don't notice any difference........I went with these cause they were half the price of the Brown-Dog mounts, and alot of the reviews complained about extreme vibration with BD. Mine is my DD, so I didn't want it to be too harsh.
I used the front Head Stud to bolt the lift chain for the hoist.

Driver side mount was completely trashed...........Made a nice Clunk-Clunk-Clunk sound while wheeling up some trails.

After separating the bottom plate from the top strap(you first have to pry the metal locking tab out of the way to slide the mount/bottom plate out from the top shell), I used my sawzall to cut most of the rubber off.

Then used my bench grinder, and wire wheel to clean off the rest of the rubber. Took 5 minutes!

Squeezed the new urethane mount into the top shell with just hand pressure.

I used my hydraulic press to slide the bottom plate back into place.

Then used my bench vice to squeeze the metal locking tab that wraps around the stud (keeping the bottom plate from sliding back out)
With the airbox removed, lots of room to work!

New mount in place.

The passenger mount was nowhere near as easy to get at..........

It wasnt in as bad shape as the driver side one, but the rubber was starting to crack. (At the bottom, you can see I have already pryed the metal locking tab back, so I can slide the mount/bottom plate with stud out the side)

Installation was exactly the same as the other side, however it would have helped to have 3 hands to hold the hoses and cables out of the way

Now I have Peace-of-Mind that my mounts are solid while wheeling.
Cool, thanks. If I'm doing the labor, I'd rather spend the few extra bucks and never think about it again. I'm on a ***** of a budget though, ha ha. We're both in Denver
You only have to lift the engine up a smidge to take pressure off the mounts, correct?

Buddy of mine has the trucklite LEDs in both his YJ and CJ-2A
They are awesome!
White YJ has them.
I would love to have them, but for now I got the putco harness and Rampage conversions.
My Jeep has been torn apart. Taking the head to get machined at a machine shop tomorrow morning. Hoping to have it back on and the jeep running this weekend.

Where-abouts in Denver are you? I'm actually over in Aurora.
