If this thread was titled, "What did you do to your thumb today?", I'd have to say I burned the hell out of it with a heat gun while removing door trim from the XJ

Took it Xmas shopping. Priced out a new cb single-sideband radio (Uniden Bearcat 980SSB) from a local truck stop. Started pricing for a 3-gallon Rotopax container. Will probably get one of those before I go deep into the desert.

No way! My buddy was helping me remove the bumper from my YJ today, and he got his hand pretty good with the oxy-acetylene torch.

Lol I was actually scraping the glue-tape away with my thumb after heating it up with the heat gun. I heated up one particular spot a bit too much and just pressed my thumb against it, whatever...*sizzle* heh. Alcohol may have been a factor as well

My buddy was talking to his girl while sparking the torch. He wasn't looking, and the pain didn't immediately register. Looked like a 3rd degree burn, but he wrapped it in a cloth and kept working.

Men.

That's the same thing that happened to me. I didn't feel it at first. I guess it doesn't help that it's about 25 degrees outside, garage only slightly warmer. I definitely kept workin, no sense letting a little blister stop a night's worth of productivity!

I hate the cold makes my hands numb I've cut my hand pretty bad before and it was dripping blood all over and don't know how long it was bleeding before I noticed it
