Ball joints and universal on driver side, headlight, oil and filter on the ZJ. Checked fluids and greased all around. She's good to go for my big girl.
Then after lunch plastic welded a small crack on the rad tank and an oil and filter on the WJ. My girl #2 is good to go.
Caught girl #3 searching adds on-line for used wranglers? You try to raise em right?? She sold the Libby and is in the market. Guess at least she still is lookin in the jeep family. Had a manual vs automatic discussion.
Pulled the old gas tank from the donor XJ, a PITA, hopeful; but it was totally done inside. So a patch and sealant on the gas tank of the Peep. Will let the epoxy set overnight and button it up tomorrow. Will have to look at new tank options. Perhaps Santa will put a tank under the tree?
Guess I should have been a good boy this year lolololol
Put the Pup to work guarding the tree and preserving the Christmas spirit

I went outside, looked at my Cherokee sitting on the side of the house covered in ice and snow, decided it was too cold to work on it, went back inside started a fire, drank some whiskey and wasted the rest of the day searching for XJ parts I can't currently afford

Noticed the tires on the project XJ were even flatter than before... put it up on stands for the winter.
That sounds like a nice day off to me!
Except for the whole "on the side of the house" bit...

HA! I dreamed about pulling the head off my '95, finding nothing bad (aside from the head gasket), putting it all back together and having it run like a champ! If only right?
Had to replace the oil filter adapter o-rings in my Cherokee today. Really annoying location for the bolt, it's right up against the frame rail. I had to remove the motor mount bolt and jack the motor up a bit just to get it out the last 1/4 inch or so. But hopefully it won't be marking it's territory anymore, lol.

Installed my new RC double shear track bar, new motor and trans mounts, fixed the blower motor, and adjusted the TOE. Trying to get her ready for our glamis Christmas trip!

I drove it in the icy slush for it's, and my first time (my first snow with my license, and she used to be a Florida vehicle). Donuts in the snow and the fact that I don't have school tomorrow where the highlights of my day. Looking at the lokka/Aussie automatic lockers for my 8.25, and kinda wondering what's wrong with my mpg still, it keeps decreasing I only got 80mi this tank ~5mpg... Replaced the cat and o2 already, only thing left I can think of is the injectors... And continued the search for a donor jeep to maybe convert to 4wd!?
