Yeah, wanted lighter than the 15-40, so I went with 10-30, but of course, it was the diesel variety. =\

Yes, I run rotella 15/40 most of the year. Switch to rotella 5/40 around end of Nov till March. Only oil I have ran that stays clean. Plus the valve train is sludge free now.

Went to the jy and pulled a front driveshaft so when my iron rock sye for the 242 gets here Monday I'll be ready to get rid of this tc drop finally.Also looked or ZJ tie rod but no V8's were there.

For the hack n tap sye it was 99$,I also bought the drill bits and tap(19.99),and the jig(29.99) to hopefully make the install easier. Shipped 162$

I didn't do this to my Cherokee, YET...but still wanted to share my excitement somewhere that I finally started welding after 8 years since the last time I did.
