Finished my oba system. Now just tracking leaks!

New axles ujoints. Drives a lot better.

 

Just looked at it as I went to work I'm going to go home after work and start tearing it apart to replace the head gasket and start the after market upgrades also will see how far I get tonight only 93 degrees outside today lol

 

Got this remounted and fixed some leaks

 

Got my new tires/wheels mounted today!!! I got 5 33x12.50 ventura M/Ts on ProComp 15x10 steel wheels, 3.75'' BS. Just need to find a place to carry the spare now
Also, I bought my buddies 1995 Jeep Cherokee Limited last Saturday. Its a UK spec RHD XJ with a 5'' lift, snorkel, brush guard, tire carrier, CB, really clean leather interior, and 67,000 original miles on it!! It had the 33'' Ventura tires and wheels on it, but I swapped my other 33s and TJ wheels onto it for now. The plan is to drop it to a 3'' lift, 31s, and have it be my DD/tow rig. So then the white Jeep can now be a dedicated trail rig!!

Drove it to my new apartment to start moving. Stopped at the junkyard and grabbed more stuff I don't need. Averaged about 19MPG, not too bad.

 

Not bad at all. I got 20.4 last tank and I was happy with that.

 

I don't see why you wouldn't be. I get 12. I'd be happy with 15 haha

 

Think I found the material for my roof rack.

 

Nice. My record is 23MPG doing 60MPH all highway. That was before my roof basket, brush guard, and 235s. This trip was with mentioned add-ons, about 90% highway, 10% town so 19MPG was a good day for me.

 

I changed the diff gear oil in both front and rear. Front oil was very black and thicker than normal, not sure if it was ever changed before (218,000 miles). Inspected the gears and all looked good.

put air in the back drivers side tire that has a leak around the valve stem and watched my wife drive off in it to go to work.

 

OBA.

 

I was actually thoroughly surprised, I expected way lower. The thing is running well after like 1500 in repairs LOL.
