What did you do to your Cherokee today?
I still need to go back for the tire carrier, d ring tabs, and I'm going to add angle iron on the frame rail brackets to add bolts in the stock location to give it some more up and down stability. I'm confident in recovering from this as is, but I know it will bend up and down because I just notched 2x2x.25 tube. It's got 8 grade 8 bolts running through the frame rails as is.
Also excuse the paint, it wasn't as dry as I thought it was. Was pissed about it, but it's temporary to keep it from rusting anyway. I'll just sand the bad spots down tomorrow and respray. It's rubberized undercoating. Once I have it and the tire carrier totally done I'm either going to bedline both or have them powder coated.

A few days ago I pulled the old trim off the lower half of my doors. I was missing it for the front doors so off came the rest. It looks so much better now.
Today I replaced the front wipers and applied rainx to the windshield.
I also can report back that I love my new Goodyear Duratracs, they make a world of a difference in how much smoother it drives as well as how well it grips the road.

Stopped by the paint shop to see how the Jeep was doing. They JUST got done with the prep work today! I would've thought they'd be much further along by now, if not done. But it looks good and they're even taking out some of the dings I told them I wasn't worried about. As we all know, the prep is the most important part of a paint job, so I'm satisfied with everything so far. I'll probably have her back next week. Now that I have the Curry steering upgrade, I guess I might as well change out/rebuild the leaking steering gear box. While I'm doing that, I might as well fortify the area the gear box attaches to.

Dropped the transmission pan with dip stick still attached. Even put it back with the dip stick still on... Never again
Painted my diff covers hemi orange too.

I adjusted my exhaust by welding in a new hanger, and also installed bump stops (hockey pucks) on my new leaf spring plates.
Also trimmed down the leaf u-bolts while I was at it.
