Only ran into that once, guy didn't have a 10mm so I helped him pull a fender. Normally I dump the tool box into my backpack and drag the socket set along so I've never had the "insufficient tool" problem before. All that **** plus a floor jack is heavy!

What size bolts are those? Just curious.
Will be 3/8" x 3 1/2 grade 8 through the frame, and are 1/2" x 2 grade 8 on the hook.

It was only me on the highway so no one but me was put at risk. Why do you have to call the XJ out like that Its very stable at 85 just wont do much more (at least mine wont)

Bypassed my heater core because it started to leak. Just after I topped off the radiator.. ah well! That's the jeep life.
The plastidip on my chrome grill looks good though, I definitely like the black a whole lot better!

Im at 3" lift with 30x9.5x15 was surprisingly well mannered compared to the 31x10.5x15s I had. Was scared to do 75 with those.

Mine slammed shut on my hand ( 5 minutes after I bought it ) and gave me some real bloody knuckles. Nobody wanted to handshake when I sealed the deal at the dealership. Haha

Mine was downhill coming back from Denver. Not sketchy at all actually but I try not to push it regardless.

I'll help people out but sometime they're just lazy. I mean don't come to the JY expecting to pull a door with a screwdriver and a hammer.

Anyways, today I put the battery back in my 91. Also wasted 30 mins looking for washers and bolts to fit on the header panel studs (the ones that are on the fender). Got home, cleaned the studs with a wire wheel. Then realized I bought wrong size bolts and ended up scavenging some that worked off my parts Jeep. Got the header panel secure.

Finally got the hood release cable back in place. Got to realign the fender now hood hits the driverside.

Started her up for the first time in awhile. Sounded mean with no exhaust, but smelled a lot. Hopefully gonna get a lot done tomorrow.

Oh and I got to practice welding a little more on some scrap.
