Picked up a full size spare on a jeep wheel. The donut that came with the jeep was way too small. Now I've got a decent jeep rim and a nearly new Goodyear wrangler sr-a 225 75/15

Default Help the HKZJ

Service on the Peep was shifted to the back burner early this morning when one of my girls called (5:30am) for Dad's Jeep Rescue Service. Turns out the Hello Kitty ZJ has a door latch anomaly. Well swap the XJ for the ZJ and she heads out for work, I bungee the door and head back to the family jeep salvage cave. Some metal alignment and clean up, tack in place, and carefully build up the metal tissue paper Jeep provided for door construction till we have a solid foundation. Some feathering of the welds and grind of the pockets for the screw heads, test fit and all is secure. Some blue locktite and finish off with a little gloss black. Wow, just like store bought. She returns the Peep in one piece and for my troubles I get the privileged of feeding her some BBQ and folding her laundry. Gotta love the kids.
Must admit she provided the meat that I am sacrificing on the barby.
Well the Peep will just have to pound the roads for another week before it gets a turn.

Took it out for a drive. Quite surprised at how well it did with no lockers.

Since I have no pics, here's some vids. I don't think they do justice in showing the scale of the trail. Also, I learned 2 things.
1. My jeep is way more capable than I thought
2. I really should air down my tires
I'm a novice and this is the most intense trail that I've been on. So don't judge to harsh please

The Chevy was just a passerby

We all have to start somewhere.

Try airing down you'll be Amazed at what it'll do.

You rea my mind, that Chevy really needed to air down some to get a better grip. Best way to learn is through others lol.
