What did you do to your Cherokee today?
cleaned my interior. re-rainxd the front and back glass.
I'm gonna have to repaint my trim. using paint this time instead of undercoating. the undercoating faded bad. I'm thinking some semi-enamel. my grill and headlight bezels are matte and they look good still.

Consider the ultra-flat camouflage blacks from Rustoleum or Krylon. I've heard good things. I've used Rustoleum satin black, and I like that, too.

Installed the Police package high idle switch to work with my 6 speed manual. (used to be auto in there)
Simple. put a ground in parallel with the park/neutral switch and a ground to the and PCM cavity A12 (gray wire)
PS: you have to use a DPDT switch to ensure it doesn't go to fast idle everytime you are in park (or have the clutch in) if you have auto PCM
For Manual PCM, the park/neutral switch is always grounded. I am not sure if it would work but I would definitely try looking for that A12 wire and short it to ground using a paper clip in the socket hole and listen if the engine steps up to 1000rpm
Here's the factory manual if you are curious about it.

the diagram above also include my clutch overide switch. The LED lights up whenever clutch or switch or high idle is on/in.

I use the switch when stuck in traffic and its hot. keeps the oil pressure up and AC cold. its also great for crawling over obstacle when idle is a little to low and foot keep jumping on the gas pedal. Oh yes.. good when winching to. Did I mention warming up the engine to?.. It should be a standard option.

Yesterday I swapped speed sensors in my 231, so that plugs up. Found a hose clamp for the breather tube. Pulled the other stud out of the frame rail that the stock crossmember uses. The two nut method didn't work, I just jammed one nut down until it tightened the stud then it losened up and backed out.
Then I chased down my metric tap and die set. The RC crossmember uses that extra nut in the frame. I can't even see the threads on mine. The others could use a cleaning as well.
That's where I called it a day and went and took a shower before going to celebrate my Dad's 50th with him.
