Painted my fender flares today on the MJ. Have to say flat black looks so much better than white. I also painted my mirrors, they were faded from the sun and half white.

... Does look good hope it lasts. Spray a light mist on it , it'll help cure.

Chased a bunch of vacuum leaks. Now when I get on the throttle the defoster vents don't open. But it looks like I may need a new HVAC console since the mix setting doesn't work all that well. But at least now i have floor air, and the console vents are working. Go me..

Also installed this..

It's one of those Chinese eBay units. Works pretty good. Good enough that the steering wheel controls actually function. It has a few quirks but I can live with that. Found out how to quash most of the quirks from the Aussie Jeep forum. Seems a bunch of the guys there bought these units, and had alot of success with them. 8GB of MP3's I can't complain.

There's the pics I was waiting for! Looks awesome. Did you do the outside at all, like up to the door trim? That's how I'm going to do mine. I've heard that removing the masking tape while it's still wet is best.

IIRC yes there are RCA outputs. The owners manual is in Englrish, and really not all that informative. You want to be careful with what year Jeep you have. Newer models like my 02 uses an IP-BUS and newer models past 04 use a CAN-BUS interface.

Drove thru a big *** mud pit, and for a few moments I thought I had somehow shorted out my fog lights and head lights. It was about 30 mins after sunset, still some light out...then through the mud and the lights were still on for a second..then they went out...but I guess what happened was all the muddy water poured back off the hood and covered them up. First thing I thought was **** I blew out my lights. Then I thought how am I going to drive the 70 miles home in the dark....then "it will probably dry out."

Then I realized it was just mud. This is a pic after stopping at a gas station and cleaning off the lights

I did the same thing--in reverse one day. One headlight was "still covered in mud"--so I thought...then I looked and it was actually burned out.
